Region of talents – Professions: A club for gifted and thoughtful children

Annotation:

The project responds to the fact that gifted elementary school students do not consider the profession of teacher, entrepreneur, engineer, or scientist to be attractive enough for their future professional careers. We perceive this as a growing social problem. This is due to social prejudices and no or little positive experience. The project will support an informal educational activity for cognitively gifted pupils, which will not only enrich them with new knowledge from the natural sciences but they will also be in contact with like-minded peers.
