The Children’s Group Koumáci 2020 project is a follow-up to the successfully implemented children's group operation project at the Techmania Science Center. Its goal is to expand childcare services at the place of implementation and to improve the conditions of employment for women with children.
The capacity of the Koumáci children's group is 24 children aged 3 to 6. The class is modern and comfortably furnished. The quality of food for children will be ensured by Techmania’s own restaurant. The children's group will use its fenced garden for its outside activities.
The children's group program is focused on 3 basic directions: polytechnic education, English language, and physical education. The teaching of polytechnics in a children's group is ensured by regular visits to the Science Center. Through experiments and experiments with Techmania's edutainers, children gain a relationship with science and technology education and a desire for knowledge as such. Physical education is included in the daily program of the children's group.
Techmania Science Center has been successfully running the children’s group Koumáci since September 1, 2016.
