The Children’s group Koumáci project builds on the successfully implemented project of building and operating the Children's Group at the Techmania Science Center.
The project aims to expand childcare services at the place of implementation and thus improve the conditions for employment of women with children.
As the current demand for children’s group operations is still high, the purpose of the project is to continue its operation. The capacity is 24 children aged 3 to 7 years. The class is modern and comfortably furnished. The quality of food for children will be ensured by Techmania’s own restaurant. The children's group will use its fenced garden for its outside activities. The children's group program is focused on 3 basic directions: polytechnic education, English language, and physical education. Polytechnic teaching in the children's group is ensured through regular visits to the Science Center, laboratories, and workshops. Through experiments with Techmania edutainers, children also gain a relationship with science and technical education and a desire for knowledge as such. Physical education is included in the daily program of the children's group.
