Demonstration of the MARX steam engine

An amazing place for children. There is so much to discover and the kids will be entertained for a long time. Older school children will understand more about what is actually taught in school thanks to this place. And the smaller children will be intrigued by the effects and trying things out first hand. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the cinema or any of the other programmes. So we have no choice but to come back again.

A great place to try out different physical phenomena, learn about the laws of nature and get right into scientific knowledge. Highly recommended, pay at the box office and with tickets.

This was my 4th time there and I'm still enjoying it. It is worth going there by train, for us from Č. Budejovice. There is an interactive exposition from small children to older ones, like me. Adults will find their own, there are a lot of physical curiosities. Now they also have an exposition about wind, hydro and solar power plants, i.e. renewable sources. It's worth buying tickets in advance, you get priority at the door. Along with Techmania you have access to the Planetarium, which is also worth going to.

We were pleasantly surprised by today's visit to Techmania, a place where fun and education are combined. A visit suitable for families with children of different ages, as well as for teenagers or young couples. There really is something for everyone. We spent more than three hours here and did not manage to go through all the exhibitions. It is worthwhile as a day trip. We were with our 10 year old daughter and according to her she enjoyed it.

Definitely do not skip. And I recommend booking more time. Techmania also has cool commented demos. We were mesmerized by the fire tornado. Unfortunately we timed it wrong and missed the 3D planetarium show but still beautiful.
