Job for Explainers

Techmania offers possibility for native English speaking explainers to spend six months or one year in the science center.

Job description:

Providing direct contact with visitors of Techmania Science Center
Providing skilled information about exhibitions and events to the public
Managing of special education programs for primary and high school students
Presentation of scientific shows
Participation in adjustments and compositions of education programs and scientific shows
Managing of action plans and supervising of themed events for popularization of science
Administrative support of science center´s agenda (language corrections of English written materials or websites etc.)
No Czech language skills needed

English native speaker
At least one-year working experience as Explainer/Edutainer/guide in a science center or similar organization
Orientation in topics of science centers and informal education
Interest and ability for working abroad
Administration of the reservations system
Positive affiliation to science and techniques
Very good interpersonal and communication skills

Six months or one year of working experience in one of the most original projects in Central Europe
Full time job (for six or 12 months)
Average salary of the Czech Republic (23 665 CZK/ 943 EUR/ 1245 USD monthly)
