150 years of Industry in Pilsen

This permanent exhibition presents the industrial heritage of Pilsen and its surroundings and describes a journey across the 150-year-old history of industry in the Pilsen region, from Waldstein's machinery to the present day.

The exhibition consists of audio and video recordings, many original exhibits and some world's unique equipment is also on display – the world's first laminate locomotive (the 32E, 1963), the oldest surviving electric locomotive produced by Škoda (the 2Elo, 1928) and a ŠKODA 3 Tr3 series trolleybus. The entire exhibition is dedicated to the history of Škoda Works and is complemented by a new stage of public transport vehicles that are currently under development or are in full operation in many of the world’s capitals.
